Hey, I’m Paulette Erato, the host of this podcast, which is called La Vida Más Chévere de Childfree Latinas, and also the birthday girl. I couldn’t resist putting the two doctors back to back on this feed. So let me introduce you to Dr. G.
[00:21] Dr. Lauren Guerra is a doctor of theology, and her show is about the intersection between all the facets of our culture, Latinidad, and faith. I was a guest during her last season and I love her approach to what can be a tough subject, especially in this current climate. So please enjoy Gold Hoops and God.
[00:45] Lauren: Hi. This is Dr. Guerra of the Gold Hoops and God podcast. What is the Gold Hoops and God podcast? Well, it’s a space that I created to help empower Latina millennials to live their best life. These are meant to be inspiring stories from various Latinas of different backgrounds to really show our diversity.
[01:07] And to show how faith and spirituality can be something so life-giving. These are topics that rarely get discussed, so I wanted to create this space in a more public platform so that folks can listen to these stories and become inspired. It’s really been a pleasure these last few seasons to get to know my various guests and they’re all doing amazing things in the world.
